Sean Edwards brings over 20 years of legal expertise and knowledge to his diverse practice, which includes the areas of probate law, professional liability (with an emphasis on veterinary professional liability), and defending clients in significant property loss, injury, death and damages claims in the areas of property and premises liability, product liability, and trucking/transportation liability. Sean also brings his experience in these areas to assisting individual clients with their wills, trusts, estates, guardianship and conservatorship, business planning, and asset protection.

Hardie v. Main St. & Main, Inc.
Venue: Johnson County, Kansas Sean Edwards successfully defended a restaurant in a lawsuit brought by a patron who was assaulted by an off-duty employee. The defense obtained a summary judgment victory for the restaurant.
Swanke v. Amity Woods Animal Hosp.
Venue: Platte County, Missouri Sean Edwards defended a veterinarian in a lawsuit alleging veterinary medical malpractice. The defense obtained a summary judgment victory on question of whether improper medication was prescribed.
Bopp v. Crain Veterinary Center
Venue: Jackson County, Missouri Sean Edwards defended a veterinarian in a lawsuit alleging veterinary medical malpractice. At trial, a defense verdict was obtained on the question of whether surgical procedure was properly performed.
Crable v. University Bird & Small Animal Clinic
Venue: Shawnee County, Kansas Sean Edwards defended a veterinarian in a lawsuit alleging veterinary medical malpractice. At trial, a defense verdict was obtained on the question of whether treatment was timely and accurate.
Enderson v. Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Center
Venue: Johnson County, Kansas Sean Edwards defended a veterinarian in a lawsuit alleging veterinary medical malpractice. At trial, a defense verdict was obtained on the question of whether course of treatment was within the applicable standard of care.
Kansas Department of Health v. Lovell
Venue: Kansas Department of Health Sean Edwards successfully defended a day care provider before the Kansas Department of Health and Environment on the question of the provider’s compliance with the requirements of her license.
