About Melody Roberts

Melody joined the firm as a summer law clerk in 2018. During this time, she gained invaluable experience drafting motions, researching legal issues, and attending court proceedings. Prior to joining the firm, Melody worked as a law clerk at Dollar Burns & Becker where she assisted with trucking accident, wrongful death, and bad faith litigation.

During law school, Melody developed litigation skills by competing on the UMKC Mock Trial Team and gaining practical experience through internships. Melody served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Stephen R. Bough in the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri as well as served as an intern to the Honorable Jeffrey L. Bushur in the 16th Circuit Court of Jackson County, Missouri Division. Melody also gained writing and editing skills as a staff member for the UMKC Law Review.

In her spare time, Melody enjoys traveling, attending film festivals, and spending time with her family and two cats.
