Josh joined the firm as an associate in 2015 after interning the year before. He practices primarily in the areas of personal injury, employment, construction, malpractice and trucking litigation and otherwise, general insurance defense litigation. During law school, Josh clerked at the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri and the Missouri Court of Appeals for the Western District. He was a member of the UMKC Law Review and Urban Lawyer Journal. He received top grades in Legal Writing, Contracts I and II, Business Planning, and Securities Regulation. In his second year, Josh led structured study groups for first-year students in contracts. In his third year, Josh assisted entrepreneurs and small business owners in preparing entity formation and other operational documents while working in the UMKC Entrepreneurial Legal Clinic. Before law school, Josh earned his undergraduate degree in finance from the University of Kansas School of Business.
Josh comes from a family of attorneys. His grandfather was clerk of the Supreme Court of Missouri for 40 years. Josh stays involved in the community, enjoys outdoor activities, and relishes time with family and friends.
