About John T. Seitz

J.T. is a dedicated attorney committed to advocating for his clients throughout the entire litigation process. His practice generally consists of insurance defense litigation, including personal injury, labor and employment, and municipal liability. Prior to joining the firm, J.T. practiced law in Great Bend, Kansas, where he gained extensive litigation experience representing the interests of individuals, companies, and municipalities.

During his second and third years of law school, J.T. worked with the City of Topeka’s Prosecution Division. While there, he successfully tried over forty bench trials and negotiated countless fair plea bargains with defendants while enforcing the rights of crime victims. J.T. also worked with the KU Center for Technology Commercialization to evaluate the patentability and commercial potential for inventions and scientific discoveries made by University of Kansas faculty members and students. He served as a staff editor for the Kansas Journal of Law & Public Policy and earned two CALI Excellence for the Future awards in Intellectual Property and Legal Analytics.

In his spare time, J.T. enjoys reading, triathlon training, and camping with his dog.
