Darin practices primarily in the areas of general civil litigation and insurance defense. He joined the firm in 2018 after practicing bankruptcy and insurance law for five years. Before joining Sanders Warren Russell & Scheer, Darin represented clients in some of the largest Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings in the nation, including the Chapter 11 bankruptcy of General Motors Corporation. Darin was a Note and Comment Editor for the Kansas Law Review and represented K.U. at the Duberstein National Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition in New York. He also founded the K.U. School of Law Chess and Boxing Society.
